I recently got a set of braille scrabble tiles, but have found that the game is hard to play with an unlabeled board.
I've looked at the reviews, and people say that the pre-brailled scrabble boards aren't very high quality.
If anybody plays scrabble, what have you done to adapt the board itself? I don't think having brailled tiles alone is going to cut it. It's worth noting that the tiles are really nice- very high quality. All I need is a way to see on the board where the double and tripple word and letter scores are.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I have the braille scrabble board, and its very high quality. Granted, its not made of stainless steel, but its a board game. For what it does, its great. Its all plastic, and the braille is easy to read. Mine is even on a turn table that makes it easy to spin. It works great for me.
My Scrabble Board has the same as the previous poster. Mine had both Print and Braille, it's fantastic!
sweet.
I guess I'll just get one of those boards. If they work for you guys, I'm sure they'd work for me.
Also, it's nice to have the turn table. I haven't seen a scrabble board like that since this old one my mom had from the 80s. Nice to know they're still around
The best thing about my Scrabble board is, you don't actually have to lift it up the table and face it, you can just spin it around. On my Board there's raised lines dividing each square, so the Tiles don't fall off.
Have to agree with all of the above.
About 10 years ago, my Mum bought me a scrabble game from England, and it was great, but the new one I got recently which has a turntable underneath the board is even better. Enjoy!
Agreed with previous posters. I got mine from MaxiAids a while ago and have never had problems.
